MousekeFoodie.com™ was created and is maintained by a group of family and friends that are unabashed Disney Geeks.  We all love sharing a meal with friends and, of course, visiting Walt Disney World®!  Between us we have scores of trips to the World under our belts and we’re eager to share our knowledge with you and in the process learn from you as well.   Here’s a bit about us:

MELISSA is Publisher & Senior Blogger, as well as a wife, mother and homeschool teacher.  She has traveled to the World a total of eight times so far, with more planned including Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival this year and a Disney Cruise in 2011.  Some of her favorite restaurants include Epcot Germany Pavilion’s Biergarten, Animal Kingdom Lodge’s Jiko – The Cooking Place and the newer SANAA.  Her first experience with sushi was in 1997 at Kimonos in the WDW Swan Hotel & Convention Center.  Her favorite meal in the World was her 40th Birthday Dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Tablein the Magic Kingdom — even if Emma did eat her birthday cupcake!  MELISSA primarily maintains our Facebook Page and posts news and information from around the World.  

KEVIN is “Editor-in-Geek” & Senior Blogger.  He’s also a husband, dad, healthcare administrator and undoubtedly the geekiest member of the family.  His first trip to the World was in the mid-1970s and he’s returned almost a dozen times so far.  Some of her favorite restaurants “on property” include Animal Kingdom Lodge’s Jiko – The Cooking Place, the Contemporary Resort’s California Grill.  and Ohana at the Polynesian Resort.  For park food, he says it’s hard to beat the traditional cult favorites such as Turkey Leg from Frontierland and a Dole Whip from Adventureland, both in the Magic Kingdom, or Mickey Bar from just about anywhere!  KEVIN primarily maintains our Twitter Page, as well as keeps up with our favorite podcasts, like WDW Today, Betamouse, WEDWay Radio, WDW Radio and many others.

THE DISNEY CHICK is an original member of our Guest Blogger family.  She owns and blogs about her Disney obsession at http://www.TheDisneyChick.com.  Her blog just celebrated it’s Second Anniversary.  She visits the World as often as she can, is a Disney Vacation Club member and “sunburns easily.”  She has a great writing style that mixes wit with commentary in a way that keeps us going to her site often and consistently leaving it with a smile.
